Multiple studies demonstrate the influence of smart cities or attractions on tourists. Nevertheless, there is a scarcity of research investigating the effects of digital nomadism on tourism destinations overall, especially with the advantages and obstacles it entails. Thus, the study conducts a conceptual analysis, carefully assessing relevant materials and engaging with the field of tourism. This study employed a hermeneutic methodology to analyze the existing literature, offering diverse perspectives that enhance the current comprehension of the subject. Finally, it is found that the implementation and modification of these technologies do not significantly influence the goals of visitors seeking to enjoy their work while they are on the move.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessNomadismDigital NomadsSmart DestinationDigitally Friendly DestinationSustainabilitySmart TourismMobilityTransition from Traditional Tourism Destinations to Digital Nomad-Friendly Destinations: A Conceptual PerspectiveBook Chapter
