    The aim of this study is to draw attention to the increasing importance of responsible and sustainable management approaches for tourism recovery after natural disasters by considering tourism in the context of green economy. After the Kahramanmaraş-Hatay earthquakes on February 6, 2023, which affected 11 provinces, the research is important in terms of revealing the current situation of tourism destinations in the region and providing suggestions for strategies that can be developed within the scope of responsible and sustainable tourism management in the reconstruction process. In this framework, the role of tourism in recovery processes after crises such as earthquakes is evaluated from the perspectives of resilience and sustainability
