dc.description.abstractKayaya resmedilmiş bir aziz, iki bin yıllık bir reçetede adı geçen ot, asma dalından örülmüş bir halka, kapı üstüne asılan bir geven, çeşmeden akan su… Kimi bin yıl öncesinin, kimi bu senenin bilgileri. Hepsi bir iyileşme umudunun izi. Bildikleri sır değildir Anadolu’nun. Sorulmayınca kendiliğinden anlatmaz. Soranın niyetini anlarsa cömertçe paylaşır bildiklerini. Kaydedilmezse, bir gün unutulur gider. Şifa niyetine çıktık yola. A saint painted on rock, a plant in a two-thousand-year-old recipe, a ring woven of vine branches, a sprig of milkvetch hung above a door, water flowing from a fountain… Some of it a thousand years old, some of it from this year. All of it the trace of a hope for healing. What Anatolia knows is no secret. Unasked, it does not speak. But if it senses the intent of the one who asks, it gives freely of what it knows. If it goes unrecorded, one day it will be forgotten. We set out in the hope of healing.
