dc.description.abstract | The book is a comprehensive overview of China's rise on the global stage and its rivalry with the United States. The book analyses China's role in world politics, its economic growth, technological developments and foreign policy strategies. Edited by Rafet Akgünay and Mehmet Fatih Ceylan, the book consists of chapters written by expert authors. Each chapter analyses the economic, technological, political and military dimensions of the rivalry between these two powers. Ali Rıza Büyükuslu is the author of the first chapter of the book. Our author takes part in this chapter with the title ‘US-China Technology Wars and Beyond’. He argues that the US started the technology war with China precisely under the name of fighting Chinese technology companies. This chapter provides a broad perspective of the technology rivalry between the US and China in general and makes predictions on how this rivalry may take shape in the future. | |
